About the Author Professional
I attended college in the beautiful valley of Geneseo, NY, earning a bachelors degree in psychology with a minor in music. Following graduation I held a dual-position as a mental health counselor and manager of a residential rehabilitation program in Rochester, NY. In teaching clients to evaluate the consequences of their choices, I was most fascinated with the psychology of motivation - why do people do what they do? Specifically, at the moment of making a choice, why do people choose one course of action over another?
Once this interest took hold, I decided that a career in sales was a natural fit for me. For six years I adventured as a pharmaceutical sales representative and sales trainer, constantly probing the psychology of motivation within my customers and myself. I found that what I love most about selling is the same thing I love most about freelance writing - both represent constant opportunity - and my business was born.
In addition to publishing articles, I write sales training programs, corporate newsletters, press releases and other corporate communications. I also explore social and technological trends (Informed Consent: Ethical Considerations of RFID), relationships (Sisters), poetry and creative writing assignments.
I appreciate you taking the time to learn about me and my freelance writing services, and I look forward to helping you achieve more with words.
